The Lumen redesign
What's new
FatThumb has a new look. Every surface — the app, the landing page, the emails — now shares the same warm editorial identity.
The Lumen palette
Out: teal corporate. In: warm-black ink (#17110c), cream canvas (#f5ede1), and coral accent (#ff5e3a). The result reads like a confident creative tool rather than a generic SaaS product.
Dark mode is now the default. The cream background and coral accent stay legible and warm; the dark variant is derived from the same palette rather than a separate cold-grey scheme.
Typography upgrade
Display headings now use Instrument Serif (single-weight 400) for an editorial quality that signals craft. Interface copy and UI chrome stay in Plus Jakarta Sans — clean, functional, distinct from the display layer.
Signature details
- Pill CTAs — rounded-full coral buttons with a subtle hover-lift shadow on the primary call to action.
- Eyebrow labels — mono-caps kickers above section headings, with a pulsing coral dot on live elements.
- Lumen grain — a fine texture overlay on the marketing hero that gives it depth without a gradient.
- Coral links and accents — all leftover teal link colors replaced with the new primary across the full app.
Emails and social
Sent emails now carry the Lumen treatment: cream background, ink body text, coral pill action button. The social share card (Open Graph) uses the new warm-black / cream / coral brand.
Delete your own content
Also in this release: you can now permanently delete thumbnails, person photos, and expression cutouts directly from the gallery and detail views. Each delete is confirmed, R2 storage is cleaned up, and if you delete the last thumbnail of a generation the parent run is removed too.
